Going Green

Technically Speaking is going green. Each week we'll tell you something you can do to go green and help the environment; small steps, maybe even some big ones thrown in to mix it up. We've been reading a lot of articles and magazines lately and it seems like every where you turn someone is writing about "going green." It's almost becoming cliche. But if going green is cliche/wrong, then we don't want to be right. Yes, we just used a cliche.

Tip #1 - Turn off your cell phone. Make family and friends call you on your work line or have them email you. We went one week with only turning on our cell phone when we wanted to make a call or were actually expecting a call. During that week we only had to charge our phone once, not every other day. We used less energy, not to mention felt a bit liberated.
